Hilary Duff Served With Lawsuit After Car Accident

Lizzie McGuire star Hilary Duff has been served with a lawsuit following a car accident that took place two year ago in 2010.  Get the details behind Duff’s legal problems below. New mom Hilary Duff has been hit  with a lawsuit for a 2010 car accident.  The twenty-four year old reportedly caused major damage to a woman by the name of Rachel Olson. Olsen said in court documents that she was”hurt and injured in her health, strength and activity, sustaining injury to her nervous system,” after the crash that took place on December 12th of that year. Owens also claims, in the lawsuit papers  that were filed in L.A. County Superior Court, that her injuries stopped her from finishing her job requirements.  Stating, that after being hit by Duff in her Range Rover it prevented her from “attending her usual occupation for a period of time in the future.” Olsen filed the complaint against the actress seeking unspecified damages.  Hilary Duff and her reps have yet to comment on the matter. Chris Brown, Drake Fight Fallout Continues

As you know by now, the Chris Brown, Drake fight has made waves online and in the media. But what is very clear now is that neither performer suffered any injuries, but some of the people nearby did. The story goes that the man convicted of savagely beating Rihanna has been beefing with Drake via Twitter. The two apparently disagree over who can take ownership over Ri-Ri, who has been romantically linked to both of them. Reports just hit recently that, despite the whole beating incident, Rihanna still links up with Chris Brown on occasion. But more recently, she and Drake were supposedly together. That is what sparked the issue. I’m guessing that Drake also doesn’t like the idea of Brown beating on Rihanna, and might not be over it yet. So now both performers were at the same club when the fight started. It turns out that Drake began to talk smack to Brown’s security and things got out of control from there. Last night, Sophie's Choice co-stars Kevin Kline and Meryl Streep were reunited due to the call of Shakespeare, as they took on the title roles in a one-night-only benefit reading of Romeo + Juliet, in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the opening of the Delacorte Theater in Central Park!

And not only were they accompanied by original music by award-winning composer Jeanine Tesori, they had some support from stars like Christine Baranksi, F. Murray Abraham, Jesse L. Martin, Sandra Oh, Jerry Stiller, and Christopher Walken!

Really, HBO execs? Of alllll the racy, controversial sh*t you display - which is WHY we adore you so - a prosthetic head on a spike that looks like George W. Bush is what you find ‘unacceptable, disrespectful and in very bad taste?’ Ha!!

We guffawed until our guts were sore upon the discovery of a Game of Thrones prop secret - the former President’s likeness impaled on a spike in King’s Landing - which show creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss divulge during DVD commentary of Season One, episode 10.

But HBO is NOT amused! Execs recently issued the statement:

"We were deeply dismayed to see this and find it unacceptable, disrespectful and in very bad taste. We made this clear to the executive producers of the series, who apologized immediately for this inadvertent careless mistake. We are sorry this happened and will have it removed from any future DVD production."

Benioff and Weiss have since apologized, and released their own statement:

“After the scene was already shot, someone pointed out that one of the heads looked like George W. Bush. In the DVD commentary, we mentioned this, though we should not have. We meant no disrespect to the former president and apologize if anything we said or did suggested otherwise."

We understand business’ covering their bases and not wanting to alienate/offend a certain demographic... but this is HBO! Turn on an Episode of GIRLS and you can watch a young twenty-somethings having fantasy, pedophile sex!

AND Game of Thrones consistently features incest! Their whole deal - much like Rihanna - is not giving a f*ck what people think!

A little hypocritical, perhaps? It's a prop for goodness sake!
